Poor Diana. Head shot of her?
She is still losing feathers. But I do see pin feathers coming through on her neck. It all feels like it will take many more weeks before she is fully clothed again.
The weather is not too bad for the next week at least.

Dear Jaffar,

We boys got together and discussed what can be done to make you feel better. Ole Bubba decided you needed your favorite meal fixed. He assumes it is steak and scrambled eggs. Young Twiggy thinks your daddy should bring in your favorite hen for company. He assumes it is Coco, but he is young so what does he know. As a fellow movie lover myself, I suggest you all 3 snuggle up together and watch your favorite movie. I've heard it around here before it is Cry Macho. I asked my momma as she's not felt good herself lately and she agreed that when you feel bad you are entitled to watch it over and over. She has forced me to watch Jaws with her a few times this week.....that shark scares me.

Much love and healing thoughts.

Actually it’s a play to see all the friends I have left. And they want to see me again too. But Jaffar is the main attraction, (because he’s such a good rooster)
I should have done this for BEN and BLU 🙁View attachment 3331299
That’s a really good photo! You should submit to POW

Well hello Branch, Twig, and Bubba!

You are very handsome boys!

Dear Aurora

Our Human is out in the wilds of Alberta, so me and the gals all decided that we would approach you for a solution to our bedtime drama.

Human keeps yelling at us from out of thin air to ‘behave’ - I am trying to keep these women in order, but there are 12 of them and only 1 of me! And my main lady is a smart one, she just goes in her cubbyhole and ignores everyone!

Tonight our Human didn’t even bother to check on us! Maybe was too afraid to check in…?

So
1) how can I keep these women in line!
2) how can I help our human to relax!

Sincerely
Mr Pompeii McNugget

I don’t know about anyone else but that is one scary looking Roo! I would think he would have his Human and his ladies all toeing the line!!!

Dear Aurora,
I live with my Aunt Diana. She is very nice to me though I admit I do not always behave well - particularly at bed time.
This is a little embarrassing to talk about, but recently Aunt Diana has developed an unfortunate habit of dropping feathers. She drops them everywhere without any consideration of others. They are all over my food and floating in the drinking water - wherever I go I come across her feathers.
It really is a disgusting habit but I don’t know how to talk to her about it without hurting her feelings.
Should I just pretend I haven’t noticed? Or is there a way I can encourage her to keep her feathers to herself?
Yours sincerely,
Bernadette

That’s very sweet. Thank you. I will definitely tell Jaffar this.
