LF is now very large and very, very fluffy. I don't think she even noticed when Phyllis pecked her fluffy butt!
You saw that!

Phyllis frequently tries to peck both of them and no one pays her any heed. It's kind of funny. Unless you are Phyllis.

Everyone, my mom is falling hard for one of my roosters. No it is not Branch, although now half the time she admits she sorta likes him. Yes, I will happily take that.
This boy right here, Twig, Branch's son is worming his way into my mom's heart.

She loves everything about him. His looks, his personality which I do not understand.....he is a mini Branch in attitude. She says he has kinder eye's then Branch. Did you all know beards and muffs and top knots look wonderful on chickens......well, chickens that do not have silkie feathers that is. Twig is also getting spoiled like Drumstick used to be. He now roosts beside Holly, which for any rooster is the place of honor. Drummie always had to be placed on the roost after some cuddles. This past week, Twig has been snuggled, and placed on the roost. He is now realizing that he does not have to fly up himself. The last 2 nights he waited for either me or mom to put him up there. I wish she loved Branch as much but I am secretly gloating that she is falling for the "Demon Spawn" as she called him when he hatched.
And Twiggy! :old What’s not to love about that rooster 🐓!
