I had to be rescued and hoisted on an helicopter from a rock climbing site in my early thirties. It was my worse nightmare come true..but then the whole day was such a succession of nightmarish events my mind went blank and I didn't feel any fear. It all ended well. However, I lived in Nice for 15 years and none us can forget local Olympic swimmer Camille Muffat who died in a chopper accident aged 25.

Well you should keep trying, I think some of your photos are really good!

A lot of times it depends on what you are using the picture for. It is definitely a no-no if you are going to profit from it or claim it is your own. But they usually don’t care if you are using it to direct people back to where the picture came from.
Thanks but I think just to be safe, I'll send a link to a photo. I obviously do not make money off of the photos I show to people.

Now that is what roosting SHOULD look like (👀looking at you, Aurora and Phyllis!)

All tucked in together - even if the together is a couple different groups - each group roosting 'together'!

They were a lovely pair, @BY Bob 🥰 🥰
They were sweet girls.

Awesome! Just awesome

I would gladly send you some of ours!!

We were forecasted to get 1-3 inches. The next county over 3-5". Based on the geography here, I usually split the difference, so I assumed 2-4". Nope, 6+ inches. I love how it looks, and that isn't too bad for shoveling, as it wasn't slushy. However, as I age and joints hurt....I get less and less fond of large snowfalls, as there is a ton of shoveling here...and the old bones don't take it so well. All the extra cleaning before with the chicken run and coops, plus shoveling before I went to bed, could barely move..hips screaming at me!:(

However, it is just gorgeous this morning...and with extra pharmacuticals (high dose of ibuprophen), I did finally get some sleep last night, and hips are at least moving this morning....and, again, it is so gorgeous out! So, I can't complain too much!

No new picts (will have to get some later...but I'll pay tax with some oldies:

This one is just for @BY Bob Slightly older picture of my 'pullet', shortly before he was rehomed with one of his sisters to have a flock of his own.

My brother decided to give me one of my Christmas presents early today. He figured I would freeze overnight in the hospital and miss my chickens. He knows me so well. What he does not know is my flock, he said here, this has your rooster on it. Um.....nope do not have polish, I have silkies with a crazy hair-do. He chuckled and said give it a matter of time and I would fix that situation. As for the sign, do I hang it on the coop or on my bedroom door.

You are welcome to my surprise snow too. I don't actually know why I bother with a weather forecast!
Anyway, I think it is going on its own but not as fast as I would like and it looks like it might snow again today (forecast says sunny of course!).
How much did you get? Nothing here after that little bit in the morning.
