Yes. That is Hattie. She is a lavender orpington.
I knew that!
Breed = Orpington
Color = Lavender
Other colors available are: buff, blue, black, white, gold laced and Jubilee. I am not clear on the difference between blue and lavender.
I am making good use of my guide!

My dad also passed away from cancer and heart issues so this bothers me alot and gives me horrible flashbacks. Unfortunately his in his jaw and 5 tumors in his lung and pancreas. So he doesnt have long time to live.

Oh, before I forget, here is the run that the chickens are in. I took this with my phone up to the chicken wire while I was in the guineas pen.View attachment 3365318
Edit: The chickens were up against the wire, so they were not visible.
That looks very cozy. You may want to add things like stumps for them to jump up on.

If so, I am very happy for Betty. She is using those new wing feathers well.

On my desk. It was a Christmas present. It assumes zero knowledge of chicken breeds which is perfect for me.
I tried learning about breeds once before but I gave up at the Rhode Island Whites hurdle. With the guide I may be able to make some progress.
