Yes. I am armed with both such tools. And if it were 9’ I think I could get them. But they are past my reach at over 10’.I have found a long handled shovel ( with the D grip) makes a great 'chicken lifter' off their roosts (read : branches)that are high! Between that and my very sturdy 2 step step stool, I can reach about 9'+ up! (ask me how I know)

. I love them both most of the time, but keeping the two of them does make life interesting. Today huge Gaston stood his ground to fight for the first time against tiny Théo....for one minute before running away as fast as he could whimpering.

Do you have a way to lock Babs and Elie in the coop for a while during the day without Bernie and Diana ? That way they would have time to look at the settings without having pressure from the big girls.
But we all know that forcing a chicken's mind on where to roost can sometimes work and sometimes create total chaos!
