That "Old Bat" is outstanding!!!!! And so is Branch! For those of you who may need a chick fix here you go.
Notice the only rooster she is comfortable with being around. That's my boy. They are of course not his, I checked them carefully when I brought them off the hill but he does not care. If there are chicks, he is the daddy.
I know I am. To be honest, I was used to giving eggs away. I still do not charge my grandfather or my sister who both insist they pay. I keep a watch on local sales pages, the highest price I've seen is recently 5 a dozen so if I have to raise my prices it is ok.You are cheaper than the market!![]()
I'm torn tooI don't think the build is right. Shape of chest/legs is more like a bobcat. Movement......I dunno.
OMG I love chicken videos especially about chicks and roosters. I love King Kong lolFor those of you who may need a chick fix here you go.

6 feet they may be able to do the rest of their livesGood night little Princesses. This is the 4th night on the same rafter and they are both using the roosts as an intermediate step so only flying about 6’ up and down.
I am slooowly getting to be at peace with that. I will have to learn to get them off of there with a roost-stepping-tool, but we will see. Maybe they will learn to love the window view that the big roost offers.6 feet they may be able to do the rest of their lives
Don’t want you feeling guilty! Feed costs money and so does your time.I know I am. To be honest, I was used to giving eggs away.
