Sometimes You Get What You Need......

Every now and then chickens surprise you in a good way.

It's going down into the low 20s (- single digits C) tonight and Betty and Glynda are together right by the heater.

About 3 people attempted to lure him in but for some unknown reason he chose my dog and myself

He knew kindness and love when he saw you. Animals are very wise.

Today isn't supposed to getting any warmer but it's 31 F.
I heard there are no chickens at the farm show. Well, heck. I am still going regardless of what my father says and if there are no chickens.

There was no poultry at the farm show but I found this chicken there.

Hattie would have to move to be a target for an owl to start with. She is very stationary these days.

Update: did not go to the Farm Show. I wish they made the Farm Show during the summertime. Wish I could buy the cider donuts and that apple slushie. My dad had other things and is afraid of getting sick.

Sorry you didn't get to the Farm Show, yes it's too bad it's not held during the summer time.

Your kiddos look like they are enjoying themselves.

(ps: I can understand your dad not wanting to get sick - I had the Flu over christmas - 2 weeks of misery )

Flu Tax

Everyone is tucked in bed at my place, it's going to be -18C overnight back home - meanwhile here it's still mild (for here) at -9.

This was when they first went to bed - still light out then.
