No. Apparently chickens used to it quick, but hawks hate it forever. Supposedly people have really good results.

My cluck is set for 04:30.... and 05:00.... and Mr P is set for 05:30! Not sure what the guy in the well-site next to me thinks of the rooster crowing at 05:30AM!
