She's a stunner!Lacing was something else I wanted. I wasn't 100% sure I knew what it was, but I always think the Wyandottes look amazing and @MaryJanet has a lot of stunning lacing going on in her flock.
And now I have Babs I feel no need for a Wyandotte or Barnevelder for the lacing!
I mean look at Babs - she is gorgeous! Note also her green snakeskin boots.

Horses also have only red and black, but with a ton of modifiers (bay, dun, cream, etc). Genetically there is no such thing as a “brown” horse, they are a shade of red or a diluted black.Thank you, you are too kind. They hatched in an amazing variety of colors and patterns given all had the same dad, and there were only a couple of different moms! Quite the assortment of colors/patterns with the broody hatched!
@rural mouse mentioned there are just 2 color genes (red and black, I think) Amazing how just 2 colors genes can produce such variety in colors on the feathers!
