Well, for one I have never saw them in my area. The feed stores have not got any chicks in, and in 2 years none of the local facebook groups have ever had any for sale. Not even so much as a hatching egg. Secondly, first things first, I NEED my desired silkies, more importantly a black silkie hen before any other breed is added.

Curly’s tail feathers seem to be missing… I promised her that when she molted I would pluck out the broken ones so they could grow back

esp Curly’s as I am sure you would get black silkies from her as a splash
