White hens are like little miracles. They play in the dirt and still stay bright and white.

White roosters too. My Snowbird will dust dirt bathe. He'll be a MESS! Then he stands up, shakes, and he is glisteningly white again.

You are getting the true picture. They are wonderful chickens and will be a nice change of pace for you. All of these things are what I have experienced with them.

Plus the hole digging. Glynda was living up to her leghorn heritage in the garden the other day. Check out this hole!

I have a digger in the Chicken Palace. Actually, whoever it is has an eye to the building code as the footing should be above grade.

So ridiculous - and absurd. It's like the silly phone systems now which 'talk to you'. I tell them 'give me a real person you idiot computer'. To which it will reply 'I am sorry I don't understand your request, please try again'....


Bell Canada had one called 'Emily' these was such a backlash and people started sending Emily hate mail hahaha - Bell Canada is back to the 'options' menus on their phone system - marginally better than Emily.....

I worked in IT for a long time and have to say, AI is not something I am in favour of.

Going to have to owe tax, I have my phone sitting under Fluffy playing chick chirps hahaha!

Case is point how smart the Marshmallows are. I had some left over pasta I just took out to the chicks. Well, pasta is a free for all for everyone. One of the big girls decided she wanted one of the chicks noodles and gave chase. Instead of running around and taking the chance of loosing her noodle. She flew up with her noodle onto the top board of Russ's stall and ate the noodle before the other hen got up. I think their collective motto is "Work smarter not harder".

Aww, the poor sweetie. I hope she is okay/the vet can help. She does look quite calm on your lap!

All is well. Fuel is draining and I will dry the tanks, before refueling. Poor Marie, just sitting there in the hanger with nothing to do and nowhere to go (yet) !

Yes I hope so too! It's squalling today, we had a really terrific one about a couple hrs ago, lots of high wind and snow. But it's settled down for now, so once that evil white stuff is all done with I am going to put the overhead mesh in place, and put the electric fencing up.

Awww those are the best sort. Who needs beauty, kindness is what matters most, beauty is only skin deep.

How is her leg? (I likely owe some SHRA for that questions).
