Heelooo!! I just saw this video! Polish Crested are super good fliers! My White Crested Black is super good at flying and calculating her flight!

The Amazing Phyllis
Phyllis was up on the wood pile looking for a new nesting location and Eowyn came over to see what was up. This required Phyllis to take a long flight path down, targeting her landing to be right between my legs. I caught it all in slow motion. Watch how graceful a flier Phyllis is.

I have said it before, she is the only chicken I have had that can fly straight up, hover, and much like a leghorn, she can gain altitude if she needs to mid flight.

Once you leave the eggs, DONT MESS WITH THEM! Date new eggs there and leave be another day.

I just put 3 eggs under Marty, and 3 under Fluffy. They both rolled the eggs under themselves and did that jiggly fluff to settle on them.

Of course that means nothing…

3 days in and both Gryffyn and Goose are acting like old pro's at this broody business. Goose is a screamer but not a biter. Gryffyn is silent but deadly with that beak. I have not even had to throw them off the nest, they are getting off to eat and drink every 24 hours, good girls. Oh, and Gryffyn, 3 days in still has all 4 eggs, plus 2 extra that I have to remove daily.

that’s wonderful only 19 days to go!

All the more reason to get moving on this....the world could use a few more Hatties, and she should leave a genetic legacy to live on!

Yes just borrow a nice Orpington Roo like I am doing with my silkies! He is going to visit for a month then go back home!

Stupid insurance refused to cover my Hida scan for my gall bladder they are doing a peer-to-peer to try and get it covered. They said to go to hospital if I end up doing what I did last night. I will call an ambulance so I can get in faster. My tummy is sore but not in alot of pain
