DANGER DANGER DANGER !!!!!

Danger Hooman - Danger come quick!

I am just a bit freaked out here, I went outside to see what was up and a Fox was right at the coop fence looking for a way to get in. I of course freaked out and ran screaming bl***dy murder and swear at the thing - it ran off into the paddock.

Of course my panic then set everyone off even more! I ran over and grabbed old Penelope - she really is clueless most of the time and was just standing there all on her lonesome - I am sure that the Fox had her in its sights.

I rounded up everyone and made them come back inside and I did a headcount - 13.

Then I went out to the paddock to see if I could see the little beastie. Time to get that outdoor run completed ASAP and electric fencing up PDQ!

EXACTLY how my roo goes when a hen is clucking in a nest box. It turns into a clucking choir after that.

Glad you were there to chase him off, :hugsand good Mr. P - so nice to have a good rooster. 🥰 Just having the alert roo can save chickens, even if you weren't there. Unfortunately Foxes LOVE chicken dinners :(

Oh on beakbook again was she?

How many time have you changed that password now? She must be a hacker 😁
I think Phyllis cracked the password and let Lady Featherington use it when she was done.

I'm so sorry but it will always be coming back now. You must fox proof at all costs. They are clever and determined. And worst of all, dog-like in that they will kill all of your chickens if they can.

Crap, could have a issue on Gryffyns eggs. I went out late last night because I forgot to tie Louis in. I decided to check on her eggs and when I moved her could not find her eggs. What the heck? I started moving the hay around and I found them buried under the hay. They were not buried earlier in the afternoon because I saw them when she came off to eat. I think Louis may have covered them over with hay. Unfortunately they were cold but Gryffyn went right back onto them. They were developing, and I'm praying I found them in time.
