OK got some more information, but do the "nm" numbers in the "photoreceptors" section in the table below correlate with light frequency that we think they can see?

  • No pecten oculi
  • Choriocapillaris supplies outer retina
Wow! I have bookmarked all the IR posts and articles and will look at them all in a day or so.
I came back from my trip and became really sick - temperature of 103F (or 39.4C, which sounds so much less scary!).
I am tentatively going to try sipping some soup and then going back to bed.
The feline nurses have been working round the clock - by which I mean they take turns on which one will sleep on my head, my shoulders and my knees. With support like that I am bound to feel better soon!

I'm sorry sorry to hear you are ill. I hope you are feeling better soon.

School spirit week: cowboy and Indian day. DH rode his horse to school. Principal was pissed. Had to figure out where to put the horse and provide water for the day (law, still on the books).
Hahahaha

Not a school story, but… I loaned a POA to my neighbour for his daughter to use in PPG (Prince Phillip Games), Lily was almost 14hh so a big pony, and my neighbour would use her to ride fencing and check his cattle.

One day I was in town and image my surprise at seeing Lily being ridden across the busy roads from the Fair grounds to Tim Hortons (donut and coffee place).

Curious as to what he was doing, I turned into the parking lot and watched as he went through the drive through hahahahaha

He is a crazy man, vexed me many times with his antics 😁

It hasn’t stopped raining here all night, the chickens are mad they can’t go out - let me rephrase that - they won’t go out!

It’s just pelting down, and I scared the crap out of them and the horses with my bright yellow slicker hahahaha been a while since I wore it.
