Ya - had me worried but her weight was steady, she ate each time I dragged her off.

Ohh, this is making me impatient! My broody white rock girl goes on lockdown tonight..... I haven't candled any of the eggs because I need it dark and she is even more upset if I try to move her or reach under her when it is dark..she is already a screaming banshee when I make her gut up every morning and evening....so, I will see in a few days what 'pops out'.

That said, other than the one egg she kicked out of the nest at around 36 hours, she hasn't tossed another one...so

Brownie s such a proud momma there! There is nothing like seeing a good momma hen do her thing and tend to her chicks!

After 21+ days destroy her nest and remove her eggs. That should do it.

OK. But not before the 22 days right?
She leaves the nest quite readily when I intervene.
Sometimes she rides my arm out to the run. Sometimes she gets up on her own when I reach for her.

If it's that bad, they may not care....and there are off road options...didn't we talk about passing a bird...or eggs across?
