I say girl. Stance, no comb, no wattles. Reserve the right to change that as she grows. It’s such an issue here that the general rule now is, if it has been on you less than 24hrs then a 3 day course of prophylactic antibiotics is given. Longer than 24hrs or is a rash appears then the full month long course of treatment.
If it hasn’t attached to you no course of action required.

Or just do what I do and run the hot water tap and put 1/2 full in a water bottleThen just give it a quiet place to rest, with some food and water...maybe throw a towel over the box so it feels safe, and let it be for a bit. It might be in shock. Or, it might have been hit and be hurt but not have broken bones??? Is your house warm? maybe give it a hot water bottle wrapped in a wash cloth or hand towel.
(you can make your own 'hot water bottle' by taking an empty soda bottle (individual size) or a Gatorade/Powerade bottle. Fill it to all but 1/2 cup full, squeeze bottle some, and cap tightly. Then put in microwave until very warm. Warm enough so feels hot to hand, but can hold it for a min. or two before it becomes uncomfortable. Wrap in a washcloth or pillow case or hand towel, and tuck it in near the bird. (but not between it and food/water, don't want to make it hard for the bird to eat/drink.)

Wendy was hot. (But she has been healthy. There are still soft egg issues. I am not even sure if she is laying lately.)

I use bug spray for horses - smells fairy good and relatively good price. I spray my clothes with it.TSC carries liquid permethrin that you mix up. You could designate a spray bottle to it. Last year I had mites in one of the coops and got some and mixed it up and used that. My spray bottle is marked with a sharpie that says Permethrin so it never gets accidentally used for something else. (Same as the 1 qt. spray bottle I use for White Vinegar for cleaning - clearly labeled!)
