The neighbor who complained about Jabber has moved since but I do have new neighbors and I do not know what their perspective might be.
Suggestion: free dozen eggs, or a cake, pie, or a bottle of wine 🍷. In hopes that the neighbor likes chicken noises? :idunno Yes, basically a bribe.

That's Up The Wall giving me the stink-eye for taking pics of her butt.

Aaand
Rosilia pecking the camera when I was crouching down for a butt. I actually had a whole gaggle of chickens including Mabel, Sally, Knockalina, and Rosilia.

My impressions are that the resolution is not as good as the Ultra. It's always a bit darker and slightly fuzzy on details. Needs good light always? Still it's not as good. Maybe it doesn't work as well with the wifi from the hub? This is why I put it in a close-up location where the distance details don't matter, like the warming panel corner, and also took it out of the inside coop spot.

Also it does sometimes make a machine-like clicking noise, in addition to a low scratchy noisy background in the sound when it’s doing that (not consistent). No idea why, this is something I probably should understand as it’s sort of in my field. I suspect the power to the microphone is dirty, and maybe it’s the outgoing signal too, there’s leakage somewhere. Doesn’t bother me much, I’m more into the visual. It may be the same thing @RoyalChick noticed on one (or more) of her Pro cameras and mentioned it, so I was prepared for that.

I'm sure the ultra has better resolution. That may likely be what you are seeing. There are settings that can effect resolution. Power management being one. If you are using "optimized" it may be lowering the resolution its own.

Is it my fault you got the pro? If so I'm sorry.

I’ll check the settings for optimization or not, good thought there. No, no worries here and no apologies, I gathered opinions and made a decision, and it definitely saved some $. It’s a useful camera! Just better for closer applications. It’s fine!

The Littles have come up with a solution to the overcrowding on the top deck. I don’t think Sylvie will accept that at night but she is happy now. She likes sitting up on perches.
I have turned off the heat and removed the side ‘feathers’ to see if they will move to the lower deck. The lower deck tray is more spacious.

But they want to be up, I think. At least as they grew the Buckeyes did. Why not just put a bigger cut-down box all the way across? Lowering the brooder plate platform (or strapping a bit of wood on the roost), then the box would be level.

Yes I have that on one of my Pro 4 cameras but not any of the others.
If you read the specs it does say the Pros are lower resolution.
I use my Pros primarily as security cams - scary dude lurking at the back door sort of thing. For that purpose they only need to tell if it is a man or a bear.
For fun chicken videos I use the Ultras.
I recently got two doorbells which I think are lower resolution even than the pros - but they are slimmer and much, much cheaper. I am still experimenting with the doorbells - watching the nest boxes so I am clear on who lays when, is proving quite useful.
I get to spy on broody Eli!

You would not have fallen off. Rosie would have done what she really wants to in doubles. Yanked off the saddle to ride bareback. Russ has a wide back and when you ride him he feels like you are sitting in a rocking chair. All you would have had to do would be hang onto her waist.
I was going to go for ride, but need to mow the grass again! Ugh, riding in circles on a bumpy lawn tractor, and I am fighting a migraine today, but mow the grass I must. The chickens stand and look at me - they are not at all bothered by my riding the lawn tractor, I am sure they are thinking what a good slave I am 😊

Look who’s come to sit with me while I eat a late lunch.
