The wee ones are actually only 2 weeks old, I checked my calendar, my niece was incorrect (once again hahaha!), I think I will see about putting them out in the aisle way of the barn for a bit tomorrow afternoon. They can see the Tweens and the mamas, who will have a fit when they see them ! I don’t want to add the adults as I don’t think I can keep track of all of them together! 30 is a bit muchPut the tweens back in. They'll get thing sorted then help integrate the newbies with the rest.
BTW, you can then start calling them the Baker's Dozen...
Wrong again. It is a store. They have meatballs.
Swedish meatballs I assume?Wrong again. It is a store. They have meatballs.
Correct. How did you know that?Swedish meatballs I assume?
I would lay off the castor oil if she has open sores, but if they aren’t it’s fine. But a better option if they aren’t open it mineral oil which will prevent cracking of the skin, but castor oil can be irritating to the flesh and can cause cracking. My poor princess, she's had bumble foot something awful. I've been soaking her legs and feet then putting caster oil on but they started to get really sore since yesterday. I think it's clearing up but I'm still worried.
They really enjoyed their mashed egg cottage cheese with mint leaves tonight

Oh no that is sad, had a hawk here also today, but the Blue Jays were harassing it so it left. Do you have many hawks were you are?Saw a hawk kill one of our pullets this morning as I was greeting the hvac guy. I yelled, the hawk dropped her but she was dead. A short-time later the tech read the last rites to our evaporator coil that is pouring out freon. Guess I won't be buying any lottery tickets today.![]()
Molting would do it!I think Bolts beak problems would affect her egg laying because her beak was making it so that she could not eat very well. She didn't lay for about a week after we trimmed it, and then she decided that it was feeling better.
Just a theory though. She was also molting I think.
