Put the tweens back in. They'll get thing sorted then help integrate the newbies with the rest.
BTW, you can then start calling them the Baker's Dozen...
The wee ones are actually only 2 weeks old, I checked my calendar, my niece was incorrect (once again hahaha!), I think I will see about putting them out in the aisle way of the barn for a bit tomorrow afternoon. They can see the Tweens and the mamas, who will have a fit when they see them ! I don’t want to add the adults as I don’t think I can keep track of all of them together! 30 is a bit much😳

My poor princess, she's had bumble foot something awful. I've been soaking her legs and feet then putting caster oil on but they started to get really sore since yesterday. I think it's clearing up but I'm still worried.

They really enjoyed their mashed egg cottage cheese with mint leaves tonight

I would lay off the castor oil if she has open sores, but if they aren’t it’s fine. But a better option if they aren’t open it mineral oil which will prevent cracking of the skin, but castor oil can be irritating to the flesh and can cause cracking.

If the sores are open then you will need to put a dry bandage on them to protect them. Can you get any antibiotic ointment at the pharmacy there? If so use that lightly on the sores then put the dressing on.

Also if your roosts are high maybe see about lowering them to about a foot high so she doesn’t have to jump down and hurt the sores.

Poor pookie I hope she gets better soon, sending hugs to her 💕

Saw a hawk kill one of our pullets this morning as I was greeting the hvac guy. I yelled, the hawk dropped her but she was dead. A short-time later the tech read the last rites to our evaporator coil that is pouring out freon. Guess I won't be buying any lottery tickets today.😒😔
Oh no that is sad, had a hawk here also today, but the Blue Jays were harassing it so it left. Do you have many hawks were you are?

Sorry to hear your cooling system kicked the bucket that’s doubly bad 😢

I think Bolts beak problems would affect her egg laying because her beak was making it so that she could not eat very well. She didn't lay for about a week after we trimmed it, and then she decided that it was feeling better.
Just a theory though. She was also molting I think.
Molting would do it!

You can try making a wet mash of their layer ration, it will help Bolt eat and your other gals sneezing if the dust in the feed is bothering her.

Sorry to hear Lenny is moving on. But I think you will be ready for a larger horse by then ❤️

Eli had some health issues but seems to have over come that, and then went broody about 3 weeks ago. Royal Chick will send you a link to catch up, but there is a gazzillion chicks here now, Royal Chicks got 5, knoturavggrl’s Brownie hatched out a bunch, Featherhead007 has a mama hen and her 11 chicks visiting from next door every day, Rebecca has a whole bunch too many to count now ❤️, I have a bunch, GregnLety has a whole bunch also…. Wow so many babies!

Ok you have a wonderful trip and take photos 😊
