Pretty eggs, I love the crazy printer jets these girls have 😂 That green egg isn't dirty at all it just how Flour decided it should be. The other egg is Brownie’s first one since going broody. It never gets old.

So pretty! My younger sister's chicken, Restaurant, lays eggs just like that brown speckled one! :love💚

Just came back in from spreading seeds. I was given a whole box (12x8x4) filled with dandelion puffs. While I was spreading clumps on the breeze, I climbed down the hill to the tree below: the wild mustard is 5 feet tall in several areas! New project: mowing some of it. Chickens will enjoy the dandelions next year, and so will the bees. Maybe I'll finally have enough to do something with them too.

Some late fluffy butts (they put themselves there)

Hey y'all! Unfortunately, I don't have a camera anywhere with me so I can't get Fluffy Butt pics today, but I'm hoping to make up tomorrow! :D

I just caught up... y'all talk too much! :gig
If you have a phone you can get butt shots with that. I use mine.

Adorable little fluffy butts 💕

I could talk to my dad about getting one built, but I don't know what the ideal one looks like... a brooder-like situation?
Hmmm

Maybe you need to get a broody secure location before you go ahead with the hatch plan. There is nothing so important as a nice safe dry secure location where you can keep an eye on mama and the chicks.

Plus make sure that the chicks are safe from everyone else for the first week.

Any chance you can get a broody pen built?
