Best of luck. I have no experience with baby bunnies. You are a real sweetheart trying to help this little one.A rabbit in peril...?
My friend has a doe (female rabbit) named Charity. She recently had a litter of eleven kits.
Now just what is the problem here?
You see the healthiest litters are of 3 or 4 kits. Now with eleven there will be always someone missing out on it. I received a call from my friend saying that hey, I have a rabbit that's dying of malnutrition, another two have already died of that kind of thing. I agreed to take the rabbit. He's sitting in a box next to me, wrapped in some spare rabbit fur and I'm feeding him rabbit formula (goatmilk + whipping cream) and he seems to be perking up.
phew. But if any of you know what else to do to help this young kit, please pipe up.
They will learn.
Keep him warm, keep him close to you. Don't get attached to him until you're sure he's going to make it. Feed him often.A rabbit in peril...?
