That was plain English. Pretty much, I had the (probably dumb) idea of putting a SSD, or Solid State Drive, which is a form of storage that does not spin unlike hard drives and is found in many modern computers, and I needed to install the OS the laptop came with (in this case Windows XP). A lot of older computers use what is called a "Recovery Disc" to restore the OS. I had made some (there are 9) and I had Disc 1 sitting on the desk. Josephine jumped up and landed on it leaving some nice scratches.
In Albis is currently trying to get food and tickling my leg in the process.

Thank you for the healing thoughts, so very kind of you I am calmer then I was the first few days after learning of it. I am booked into a highly regarded cancer center that is part of Ohio State University’s Medical Center and will meet with them on August 1st. I am in good hands and should be A ok.

I got outside and sat with the flock for while today it helped they are so in the moment which helped me to be too.

The kiddos really love the chickens almost as much as I do. Its been wonderful to see them interact and help with them. My daughter even joined the 4H Cloverbuds in large part because of them. so cool!

The babies seem to think I make a nice comfy chesterfield to sleep on and Sophia seems glad to leave the babysitting to me
Those sharp little claws when they fly up here are not pleasant!
