Mine are all honking except for Pooh who was the first to honk and now almost sounds like an adult.
Sometimes she even behaves like one (but not often).

I love her colouring, do you know what her breed is? I know you told me before, and do you have any idea of egg colour?

I just had the biggest scare of my life.

No birds were killed

I came back home from my week vacation in North GA. I went out to the coop. Everyone was alive. Took my worries away.
Oh, Bolt laid an egg! Everyone is laying!
Why is it broken though? Just the top of it. Why are there Splotch/BBQ eggshells around the nest area?
There are Willow, Splotch, BBQ, and the Bolt eggs!
OMG THERE IS SOMETHING FURRY BEHIND THE NEST BOX!!
Well, a Opossum decided to sneak into my coop and eat my eggs. I immediately started crying (still am, this happened about 30 minutes ago, maybe a little more.) I was so scared. I just started thinking about how everyone could have died. I grabbed all if the girls and put them in Pastel's timeout coop, and where he stays while we are gone.

I am so freaking scared. If a Opossum could get in my coop, what else could? I feel bad for my chooks. They are going to be in a tiny coop for who knows how long.

I just can't imagine my life if they had been killed I knew I lived them tons, but how I had a total panic attack... I'm still crying. I NEVER cry!

I am just so glad that they are okay.

I lost all the pears, peaches, and plums to a hard frost when they were in flower. Oh well.

Well done!
Keep an eye on puss-cat’s skin in that area in case there is infection.
When it is my skin I clean the area but cats have strange reactions to things so I might just watch it rather than risk something I don’t know is safe for a cat.

I don’t put anything on Missy when I haul out a tick. Have hauled out many from her.

He's 10 to 12 pounds in weight. So if I give him amoxicillin I'd have to work out the dosage. I'm going to give him a treat now to cheer him up .

Hold off the antibiotics until you know you need them. I don't think you will need them.

She is a Crested Cream Legbar - another Roadrunner - she should lay blue eggs.

I've just treated him with chicken mixed with the jelly I kept and crushed in little fresh dill and parsley leaves.

Breathe!
Your one priority right now is to figure out where it got in and secure the coop so nobody else can get in. If an Opossum can get in something even nastier might too - so you must figure this out and secure the coop.
