I saw this picture on a different site. It is an igloo jug filled with water (you can certainly put a gallon jug frozen water in there too) with a dripping system going to this sand tub. Looks great for cooling and playing. Annnd no electricity required.

Oh that is an ipgraded version of what was in my head. I like that it is an igloo and dripping into a bowl of sand is a nice add.
Of course it has turned chilly here now so I have put that project on the back burner!

We have a guy here who keeps bees and is always look for places for his hives; I thought of letting him put a few here but with the horses and my spraying for weeds I would be afraid of damaging them.

Thankfully my neighbour does host about 8 gives at his place so my fruit trees can get pollinated.
You’re dying to say it aren’t you? “To bee or not to bee! 🐝

Hi everyone,

Last night did not go as planned. Walked down to the horse show as it was starting with Rosie. 3 minutes later I am pulled into the concession stand. One of the workers did not show up so they were short handed. Rosie also did not show Russ. When we pulled him out of his stall to tack him up he was slightly limping. Cleaned out his feet and he is touchy on the foot that the abscess was in this spring. Could not find anything wrong with the foot other then he is sore when I went to clean his foot out. I hope another abscess is not brewing. Had him out today and no limp what-so-ever but I was tired and did not feel like bending over digging in the foot. Rosie claims he was smart and did not want to show in the heat and humidity so pulled a sick day. It was brutal yesterday and still miserable last night. The concession stand was miserably hot and of course I had to take a hot flash on top of it. I am going to try to get back into the spirit of taking pictures of the flock again. I broke over yesterday and downloaded the pictures I had on it. I had been dreading doing it as they had the ones I took after the dog attack. Those are now downloaded, stored in a separate file so I do not have to look at them again and memory card erased. Raven is officially done being a mother. Her chicks turn 9 weeks tomorrow and she abandoned them today. That also was my cue to move them off the porch tonight and into the coop. I guess I also now need to list the 2 boys in the group. I have been waiting due to those 2 speckled sussex chicks. They do not act like it, but my gut is telling me they are boys.
Two speckled suspects 🤔
