I really need to weigh her. I weighed Babs the other day and she is about 5.3lb. So I guess Bernie must be around 6lb maybe? She is very long legged and stands tall.

Thank you, I had not saw that one yet. Watching that I finally realized why I love Brad. Brad is the male silkie version of Momma Hen. Right down to the grabbing of skin and not letting go. I felt it deep down in my soul when she said Brad would live forever because he is a gremlin. I feel the same about the ole bat. In a world full of Butters, Sydneys, Babs, curlies and all the other sweet hens. Some days you need to wake up and be Brad's, or Momma Hens.
