I also now follow Chookens on facebook after it was shown to me. Lovely silkies, I want them all. They shared a post yesterday that is just torture. A breeder is having a flock reduction on grow out pullets. Buffs, oh the many gorgeous buffs, whites and some blacks and partridges. I need to live in France for the Marans and Australia for those gorgeous silkies.

I hear ya, so many nice chickens out there.

Same with horses hahaha. Not that I want anymore horses, or chickens, but it’s nice to look! I am too old now to start with a new horse.

Tip: To get your rooster to crow, make your best rooster crow noise and there is a good chance he will answer.

Oh ya she’s a spitfire alright, I wish she would grow back her feathers, they are all broken of from being over bred- she needs to molt.

I shared some apples with Reenie and Truly, they are a bit tart but not too bad.

Lulu isn’t allowed to have apple due to her Laminitis issues.
