I wish you the best and know you will work hard with Sherlock. I pray he becomes the dog you want him to be. Great dogs come from hard work. I have faith that you will do the work. He is lucky to have you as the owner as you will help him to be his best self.Good dogs require LOTS of training (both dog and owner), and should still be supervised when in situations where they're facing temptation. Got a long way to go with Sherlock. My goal is to be able to be out working in the yard with him loose and leaving the chickens alone. It is NOT a plan to leave him out all day without us out there too. So far, he likes chasing the deer, a safer option to work on training with.
