Suggest you make a way for him to perch without being pooped on! Fly strike is eminent if you don’t.

Yes, I had no idea it was happening until today. I do not have a camera out there and with the automatic door I don’t often go out and see them on the roosts! I feel terrible but I think I caught it pretty quickly. Now I need to figure out how to fix it. There is plenty of space for him to roost but those ladies must not be letting him up the ladder! Tough crowd eh?

I have a board above Sir Jaffar’s perch. It stops the other birds from pooping on him. He likes his chosen spot and I had to accommodate him.

My girls perch 8-10 ft in the loft of the coop. Sir Jaffar’s perch is below that at 3 feet high.

Coco, my only laying hen at the moment, is happily sleeping in the house in the chickens room. On pillows and a full crop. She’s becoming my best hen besides Xzit. Way to go girl! Sleep tight sweet dreams

He was under the porch all alone. I brought him inside to the air conditioning. And he needed food also. It’s 92f here today

Nice and warm there too I suppose. Well I shouldn't complain it was 20C here today. I didn't need my sweater.

Here is one of the sources to give comfort about eating eggs after treating a hen with enrofloxacin (Baytril).
After 9 days the level of the drug found in eggs was below the allowable level of the drug for human consumption in Europe.
So the vet saying never eat the eggs is just plain wrong.
I think I didn’t eat the eggs for a week - the facts say I should have waited 9 days.
