Do you have a vision as to what you want?

I had everyone here sound in on my thoughts, it was helpful to put my thoughts into words and have input from others.
I do have a plan, but the ability to execute said plans is more the issue.
Suggest you make a way for him to perch without being pooped on! Fly strike is eminent if you don’t.
Yes, I had no idea it was happening until today. I do not have a camera out there and with the automatic door I don’t often go out and see them on the roosts! I feel terrible but I think I caught it pretty quickly. Now I need to figure out how to fix it. There is plenty of space for him to roost but those ladies must not be letting him up the ladder! Tough crowd eh?

Fly strike was exactly what I was praying it wasn’t, as I was bringing him inside.

I have a board above Sir Jaffar’s perch. It stops the other birds from pooping on him. He likes his chosen spot and I had to accommodate him.

When Sir Jaffar is roosting in the coop and not in the house with me:

And I seem to recall that it was @RebeccaBoyd and a few others who so kindly aided in enabling my chicken addiction 😳

Good gawd! I’m addicted to chickens !!! 😳😳😳
Now wait a minute here. I advocated for a pullet from the power couple. It is not MY fault, glares *Marty*, that they did not comply. It is also not my fault that you only ended up with one chick from that power couple. You know we have to repeat and try again next year.

And again and again! :lau

@ChicoryBlue,
Here is one of the sources to give comfort about eating eggs after treating a hen with enrofloxacin (Baytril).
After 9 days the level of the drug found in eggs was below the allowable level of the drug for human consumption in Europe.
So the vet saying never eat the eggs is just plain wrong.
I think I didn’t eat the eggs for a week - the facts say I should have waited 9 days.
