That is a good article. I like that it explains 10 days as a sort of default withholding period because of the time it takes to develop a yolk.
Ivermectin is of course safe to use in people but the 10 days is still a good idea for a host of reasons that they also explain well.

I am. It's still perking. Thermometer from last night's pic now reading 40f. Weather app says 33 in town. Temp will dip some more in an hour or so.

Edit: down to 36f hour and a quarter later.

I have a board above Sir Jaffar’s perch. It stops the other birds from pooping on him. He likes his chosen spot and I had to accommodate him.

That could be a great temporary alternative to fix the situation until time can be had to redo the roosting bars. Thank you

Now that I am aware of the problem I will be out there with a flashlight every night observing where he is and see what I can rearrange or build to fix it. I will also be moving him up onto the roosts in a spot away from the others in hopes of getting everyone used to him being up there with everyone.

9C (49F) now, not as chilly as I thought it would be. The next few days will be really chilly, I better find Marty something to wear. Come on girl moult out those old broken feathers!
