I've always wondered: how do people who don't drink live? Do you receive fluids through a IV?I don't drink.
And then spellchecker bites me too.It felt a sinister.
Great to hear from you. Good work on the grades.I am super sorry that I’ve not been on here in a few weeks. I’ve been super busy. My grades were better a day ago but I have a C in Georgia Studies. But I got a 100 on a quiz today so I’m eggspecting that to go up.
My math is a B, and I’m starting to enjoy math a little bit.
All of the chooks are fine. I have 3 pullets and one rooster from my babies.
Eli is still getting used to everyone, and with BBQ chasing her and they chicks it’s a bit chaotic.
BBQ’s feathers are finally growing back. She’s actually a really pretty hen. Splotch is starting to molt I think.
Pastel has no tail feathers left… I accidentally snapped his last one in half today when I tried to grab him. I missed and grabbed his tail feather.
Bolt isn’t laying any eggs, but I love her.
I think that the only two that are laying right now are BBQ and Splotch. I don’t think that Eli is laying anymore. She gave us a few eggs.
All of my guineas are doing fine. I keep on forgetting to bury Madame Pearl, so I still have a dead Guinea hen in my freezer. I feel so bad.
I had a horse show on Saturday. I was awake for a total of 22 hours on Saturday. It was interesting. More to come in that.
I have championship in two weeks, so I need to be very focused on horse back riding. I’m not too worried though. In December Lenny is going to be leaving… I’m not sure what I’ll do.
This is Lenny laying down at the horse show.

Below is my favorite chick. She looks a lot like Bolt. This is Crystal.

it changes words like "ate" to "are" and stuff like that. I find it very infuriating. And it changes a sentence ever so slightly to give it a different meaning. And then spellchecker bites me too.
"a" sinister. What the crap is that?

It was in reference to his Wine. I don't imbibe. I do, however, guzzle H2O.I've always wondered: how do people who don't drink live? Do you receive fluids through a IV?
I hope you get better soon.It was in reference to his Wine. I don't imbibe. I do, however, guzzle H2O.
But, yes, I have also had IVs on occasion - one most recent was with a 2 day hospital stay last week that still didn't seem to shed light on my reason for being there and then being admitted.
Tax: My dream chickens (not in any particular order):

Heritage BRs, Dark and Buff Brahmas (I like the light, too, but they are much more easily seen when free ranging.) Buff Orpingtons (though I'm open to other colors, this is all I've had, and I love them), Americaunas/Easter Eggers - love their Muffs and variety of colors in my flock; Welsummer.
Sorry @RebeccaBoyd I like the Copper Marans and Cuckoo Marans, but the Welsummers are just so friendly and lay SPECKLED eggs. Astralorps are good too, but had to draw the line somewhere - of next I would be adding polish and silkies, too!
I like your dream chicken list. Nothing wrong with Buff Orps. I too want brahma's eventually. It is ok about the Marans, they are not for everybody, that is why there are hundreds of chicken breeds instead of 2 or 3. I will say I cannot wait to see what silkie's you end up having. The color possibilities are endless with them, I think they come in just about every color. It was in reference to his Wine. I don't imbibe. I do, however, guzzle H2O.
