Except that one last fence where the timer was located on a Cross Country Trial - darn! I still won as I had the speed behind us to take the downed fence penalty in stride (horse humour)

And this is Malala one of my Arabians, she is half sister to Truly; we are at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington for a horse show.

I think we placed 3rd and 4th in some dressage classes - gosh I wish I had kept this mare she would have been my replacement for Indy she was that good.

She has me very worried, she has been on and off laying soft eggs; yesterday and today she laid soft eggs.

I feel like I should be giving her calcium, but what dose for a wee silkie? I have those small calcium carbonate 650mg pills. Is that too much for her?

That will be fine. They don’t absorb most of it. The issue with excess calcium is a chronic thing - not a risk even for roosters over just a few days.

I have a wormer that deals with spulworms, hookworm, Whipworm, tapeworm and roundworm.

Would this be any good to princess?? It's a 500mg? No vets here deal with chickens

Felt normal today. Not sure if shook it or delayed

Oh darn, and the time change doesn’t help, all these things that stress our bodies.

Are you working tomorrow?

Yes. The time change may have actually helped: extra hour or rest. Then having Twirp and Whiskey in the house meant keeping things quiet until daylight, so more rest/slower start to the day. Also meant my focus was on them. As a whole, it felt like a 'lazy day'. I got 4 pumpkins processed resulting in 14 cups of white and 7 cups of orange puree in the freezer and a pan full of toasted seeds. It still felt like a lazy day.

Oh, Marie, i’m so sorry. I know how much you fought to keep her longer. She had a wonderful life with you. I don't think many chickens have been as spoilt as yours .

Princess is currently on the garden.

I hope I have made the right choice by giving princess a wormer. I'm just making sure because she's had a lot of funny .

All I have if that doesn't help is amoxicillin.
