Her crop felt like this yesterday. I brushed it off thinking, "She's huge. No big deal". It has gotten bigger and feels like a giant fat squishy liquid ball. Her breath smells like stinky feed.
What does it feel like first thing in the morning before she gets off the roost?

I am not sure what stinky feed smells like. Does it smell like anything else you can think of?

Thirsty Thursday
Since I don't have any chook drinking pics right now I'll just do a BFTP wild water pic.
This was from Hurricane Hilary in August.

I'm not a fan either. Why do I live in Michigan...? inertia, maybe.

Nah, really, I can put up with what Michigan throws at us for 3-4 months of the year, to get what she hands to us the other 8-9 months.
Mosquitoes and black flies? 😁

I will see my chooks and geegees tomorrow night

She already has feathers coming out and check out all the white! It looks like she is going to be "superspotted" after this molt!

I am so excited to see what her new feathers bring her. I'm glad they are coming in fast as it was only 20°F (-6.7°C) this morning.
Shake it baby, shake it! Woohoo!

Oh she is going to look splendid in another month 💕
