Ah!!
I got a text a couple of hours ago that started with “Is there any chance you’re interested in integrating another chicken?”

Fast forward to now, and there’s a brand new young pullet in my back yard!! Looks like an Easter egger- and a very chill one at that. She was unflappable as I built a run around her, and is already dust bathing. Wish I had gotten a photo of my crew staring at her from across the way.

I can prove my innocence. I was with Coco all night. She’ll testify in open court if necessary!

Beautiful new hen! I like that she already likes your yard!

***molt pic at the end*** warning for RC 💕

Finally stopped raining and it was warm enough to hang out with the feathered crew. We brought out a new flock block for them. I got one of these last winter and they seem to be money well spent as they last quite a while. Enough chit chat on to the photos.

The OG’s are looking good with their new feathers! Flour is my last one and although she still looks rough the worst is over.

Sugar is super white now but you can see her breast feathers appear pink! Maybe she is part flamingo?? 🦩

Flour growing back new feathers as fast as she can!
