Pooh keeping an eye on the world as the storm rages outside.
And in good news I just got back from the vet and my little kitty cat doesn’t need surgery to remove the growth between her toes because it had gone. I thought that was the case but it feels good to have it confirmed. The only thing left is a small area with a scar and no fur.

@SimpleJenn that's exactly what happened to one of my neighbors shortly after we moved in. She didn't make it. Not sure if the heart attack or the cold got her first. Get checked out sooner rather than later.

Heart attack snow shoveling SHRA tax. Though I do think that an exemption for PSAs would be appropriate!

It's more chicken pictures. I want to see more of your chickens. There has not been a lot of their pictures lately. So I took advantage of the SHRA. Boo hoo.

Don't worry everyone, I see my new doctor Tuesday and I have it noted to mention to her.
My mom had a traumatic aortic dissection (she survived and feb 11 is her heart transplant anniversary!) so my family takes all heart issues seriously.
I need to talk to her about the arrhythmia anyways.
There is a not insignificant chance that I have pulled a muscle in my chest too, there is a warm swollen bit right where it hurts.
Tax time...


Ash is cool being petted but doesn't like to be picked up. She also gave me a good flogging for accidentally scaring Liara, her bestie.

For the first time ever my ladies have stayed in their coop all day. Even in the nastiest weather my hens are usually huddled up somewhere outside. Made it to 27° briefly, even the hummingbird feeder keeps freezing! There is something weird about this storm.

Is that snow on the top of the run? Is it just mesh or do you have it covered with plastic? It’s a good amt of snow you got.

We only got a couple inches of snow, and topped it with pelting down rain, which ended by 6am. The temperature dropped fro 3C in the morning to -5 now at 6pm.

As a result all that slushy wet snow will freeze like cement tonight. Glad I cleared off the trucks this morning, but I pulled a muscle in my abdomen and my back is aggregated. Worth a bit of muscle strain to get the stuff off the vehicles!

It’s this slushy wet snow that I will need to contend with if I plan on putting a cover on the run.
