Sure hope she is going to be ok.I'm making pea soup so I soaked a half a cup of them for the girls, added chili powder, oregano, and garlic powder. They sure appreciate a hot lunch!

Gramma fell at her care home, she's now in the hospital with pneumonia and an UTI that went septic.Mom is with her and keeping us posted. I decided to make us all dinner to keep myself from worrying too much about gramma.
No, she hasn't gone crazy, she's helping you mow the lawn.Anyone else ever heard of this: my hen Dakota is out in the yard pulling up grass, and throwing it onto her back while walking around.Has she finally gone crazy?

Not to mention they can see all your traffic if they want to, depending on how it's set up.It’s high speed internet here at workI was going to try on my work laptop but I have this thing about using work resources for personal tasks. Bad enough I had to log into my bank the other day!
I don’t mind using their guest internet for my use but not the work side - just not right in my opinion.
High morals tax
Gosh I can’t get over how much Bert is like Henny

Oh no! Poor fella, I really hate winter, you must be beside yourself with the cold and snow, has it warmed up any?Sigh, I was afraid of this. My poor boy Bubba, who was the smartest and boycotted coming off the roost for the last 3 days for the most part, has a bad case of frostbite. The base of the middle point on his comb is black. I do not think right now his wattles are involved like last year. So far he is the only one showing any signs of it. Even the leghorns with their large floppy combs and wattles appear fine. Keeping them clean, dry and the wind off the chickens can only do so much when you hit 0F and large combs darn it.
There was someone on BYC earlier this week showing rooster hats for their combs.Oh no! Poor fella, I really hate winter, you must be beside yourself with the cold and snow, has it warmed up any?
I wonder if something can be made to cover their comb and wattles to protect them, like a hood of some sort. You know like those covers they put on calves ears and bulls tender bits.
Hmmmmm I need to think on this.
Here - @RebeccaBoyd and @Ponypoor - I found the link to the comb hats:There was someone on BYC earlier this week showing rooster hats for their combs.
I will see if I can find the link.
@RebeccaBoyd - sorry about Bubba - I am sure you will give him lots of love and maybe add in some painkillers?
