They are lovely. They remind me of something I had as a child that I loved. I wonder if I still have them somewhere.

Wooden doll tax: BFTP my very first chickens when they first came to live with me. Gosh they were cute - I was smitten on first sight!

@CCsGarden if you ever feel like a commission or trade, my kid would LOVE a chicken lady doll.

Hubby thinks Kasumi just isn't getting at the calcium I put out. She's pretty low on the pecking order. So I gave her a calcium pill wrapped in cheese. Maybe once a week I should do that for her just to help.

"Time outside the run AND a special treat? Heck yes!"

The others got to share the rest of the cheese stick, even broodybum Morinth.

"Cheese is good, no wonder the toddler eats it every day!"

Samara was so happy for cheese.

She was still in her trance here, she popped out of it and was a little trembly so I put her with the others to socialize.
Hubby says that we can add our little brooder cage to the run if we need to for a few more square feet of space.

They are. I also give oyster shell and crushed eggshells. Shep, Liara, and Samara have had zero issues with their eggs.

I would consider a calcium supplement. @RoyalChick has done well providing supplements before

I don’t know about how well I did but I gave Calcium Citrate in pill form to Elizabeth for a long time.
Citrical minis - I gave 2-4 a day based on how she tolerated me chucking them down her throat.
Available in the women’s health aisle of the pharmacy (usually) and also on Amazon.

My siblings run around with the wooden dolls all the time and wanted to take my chicken ladies I just finished!
