Sharp ledges are not an optimal choice for chooks. Maybe hide it or cover it up with something. Bumble foot could result. We don’t want to unintentionally harm our kids

If in doubt, noodle it out! Then call the manufacturer to make changes for a safer product.

It’s not so cold outside but my rooster’s comb and wattles are freezing. I took him in to warm him up and feed him.

Little guy is warm now. His comb is warm and also his wattles. I think I will share my breakfast with him.
