You certainly are. And as Pony and so many other people have said, he is even luckier to have you.

I feel like the total eclipse was forgotten because of the quakes. I think that it’s going to be 60% totality here. I’ll be in school when I’d be able to see it though. I’ll either be in Spanish II or with my math teacher, and while I love them both because they are nice, I’m not sure if they’d let my class go outside to see it.
Unless you have special eye wear then you will not be able to see it.

Isn’t PtR at Day 12 - 13 or thereabouts…. 21 - 8 = 13?
I think Ayam are bantams aren’t they? Day 19 to hatch bantams.

And actually most chicks I have hatched have been day 19, bantam or barnyard mutt. Except one on day 25 - almost gave up on that one!

What a difference 24 hours makes. I only had to place 2 hens on the roost. One of the leghorns even decided it was not going to kill her tonight. Branch was waiting on me. He was perched on the top board of Russ's stall. I guess if he has to sleep in the coop, he must be carried like the king he thinks he is. I am fine with that, any excuse for Branch snuggles.

I wish the stragglers here would decide to roost in the hen house, every evening I have 6 or 7 that roost on the wall between the stall and hay stall.

And every night I chase them down and make them go to bed. I had to laugh - tonight Bert was roosting with the ladies when I came in, he hopped down and went to the hen house door, I close it when I first go on to give the horses their hay, otherwise all the chooks get up for a visit!

Anyways the door was closed and he had to wait for me to open it, when o did he marched in and hopped up in his nestbox were he roosts at night hahaha what a clown!

The other ladies I had to get them down and herd them in to bed. Silly chooks!
