Your Majesty, you are looking particularly lovely on this fine summer solstice
Awwww! That’s awesome! And POW worthy!
How? How does that happen?
Oh I am sad to hear this, I was praying for the wee one. So very sorry, but you did everything you could. They are so fragile.Sad chick update.
My little fluff, the disabled fluffy chick crashed and passed in the middle of the night. I knew the odds were stacked against her from the start due to her difficult hatch and problems. I had began to have hope though seeing how well she had managed to get around the previous 48 hours. The remaining 8 chicks seem to be doing well. The oldest, Adele is a week old today and the rest turn a week old by Saturday. If we can make it to Saturday, I will begin to breathe a bit easier. I had each one out snuggling this morning and earlier just put my hand in the brooder. Adele ended up climbing up my arm and settling in on my shoulder and falling asleep. It is the friendliest of the group and wants attention the most. You wait and see, I am going to get attached, and it will be a boy.
