She has a straight comb and hatched out of a brown egg. FWI, Twirp is a Whiting

So true. No blue eggs were hatched. What could she be? I still don't know how this could have happened.

What if I'm wrong and she hatched from a white egg?

If she grows like Blanche and PITA do, those splashes will shift with every adult moult. I find them rather intriguing. Make me think of inky fingerprints, some darker than others.

That would be fun.

Yea I have given some thought while mucking stalls - could be a whiting true green. As for the straight comb - well who knows.

I now more eggcited than ever to see egg colour.
