Plastic cheese, halved calcium tablets, then extra cheese and peanuts for the rest

She didn't go for it though 😕
And Ash went nuts on the peanuts
I crushed the calcium pills and put them in yogurt, that was a huge hit. Then I bought calcium powder which made that easier.

tonight she was wanting to roost with her sisters in the Hen House. I told her no way kiddo, she is back in the crate. That’s her in the middle, Topsy to the left, Twister to the right - stuck in the middle again…

Twister is such a funny wee lady, and look at those black specks!

Good news she is getting better already! Could you maybe secure her crate on the shelf corner with a bungee cord or something, and have it face down along the shelf, that way she can see and be with everyone?

Yes....
Pecking and exploring and preening me back there is one thing. Hazel still maneuvers around me to do that, she always has ever since she was a pullet. Diane does it too. But hard pecks and bites is another! Diane will come around to my arm and really jab, then look up at me to see what reaction she's getting, she's trying to get a rise out of me. Sometimes ignoring her works best.
My girls do that too. Bite my bum softly and watch my reaction as I turn around and see who did it.
