Thank you and congratulations to both @Sylvester017 and @Ponypoor.
I'm humbled to be nominated with both of you, you have so much experience and knowledge to share.
And many people on this thread would deserve indeed the spirit thing way more than I do. I agree with Kelly, we need to make an effort in the next nominations round !

I apologize for having been missing out on this thread, I wasn't fun to hang around with for the last three weeks. I'm better now and I'll catch up what I've missed. I don't have a pony for Sunday but some mountain pics from this morning. I'm sad that we have a dry winter- no snow now means nothing good for the garden next year !

Wonderful pics w/Piou-piou in all that white stuff :) ❣️ Europe, especially France, has beautiful diverse scenery. I love Britain for their gardens, France for their scenery, Spain & Italy for their climate, the Alps for the mtns, plus everything in-between teehee!

What side of the border is that dog from? :gig

Probably stolen from the yard :(
Cuz we don't think like thieves or evildoers, it's hard for us to imagine there are people who would do such things...like that looney who purposely started a fire on a vigorously windy day by our roadside for no earthly good! These events put us on our guard rightfully. It's why we built our chicken yard like Fort Knox ~ not just from animal predators, but human ones too. Sad we have to do things like that :(

I'm sure you're familiar w/this passage:
Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Before I forget...DH just informed me the guy who purposely started the roadway foliage fire by our cottage during our violent Santa Ana Winds has been arrested. What's with these deranged characters?! Loonies!

Did you hear about the drone that the water plane hit?! Not sure how long it will take to fix it. But Quebec is sending another to replace it.

Oh sorry should clarify, every winter season Quebec sends a team of planes and crew to support your folks down there, so n the summer they come up here to Ontario Quebec and Maritimes to help us with wild fires. So that damaged plane was from Quebec.

Guess the other plane should be there by now.
Who is this crazy person flying a drone in those places?! Loonie for sure.

Oh mad tax
Put up a 4x4 pen for momma and the dumplings. Hung the new sweeter heater in there.

Our doves can stay year round here. Some do migrate tho.

We’re having a more normal winter this year, by normal I mean colder. Not like when I was growing up (which was way colder with way more snow), but not as lovely as last winter.

I never even thought of Doves as either snowbirds or migratory. What breed are your Doves? We only get Mourning Doves here w/their plain gray coats w/ bright salmon-color legs ❣️
