However, as a parent, I'm going to ask you to respect their wishes re: social media and NOT go behind their backs. As a teen, it's difficult. You want to spread your wings yet are feeling their restrictions. Going behind their backs, though, damages your relationship with them long term. You will be an adult sooner than you think. Building the trust with your parents can change the dynamics of your relationship with them in a good way, also.

Marble and Buffy hate me now, but they've been treated as well as the coop. I even put a layer of ash into the run extension so they can use it for dustbathing.

Also yes @Pastel the Rooster I am going to be a mom and say please don't sneak behind your parent's backs. This site is fairly innocent BUT if you break their trust with something as simple as a chicken forum they'll never believe you're keeping off of more dangerous sites. We like you but need you to be safe online.

Been there, done that. Doesn't end well.

Still worth the effort while under the parental roof. Do things your own way when in your own place. Meanwhile you making the effort is wise on your part. Bad response from them is on them. You can still be a good kid even if they aren't seeing it.

There's an episode of the Cosby Show. Daughter snuck out, Mom found out....let the yelling commence...."Don't speak to me when I'm yelling at you!"..."You better answer me when I ask you a question!"

To be fair:

1. It's TV. Fiction.
2. Fire where kid was supposed to be...parents panic as kid is there....only to find out kid is not just somewhere else, but in another CITY.
3. Fairly good representation of parental panic, followed by more panic, followed by relief kid is safe...and the reactions to all the adrenaline in the system.

Oh boy. Is it a laptop or a desktop keyboard?

For a desktop keyboard, I recommend cleaning the poop off after unplugging it from your device. Then take the keys in the pooped on area off, clean underneath with a toothbrush and isopropyl alcohol (anything 80% or more), let it dry, clean all the keys the same way, connect, and enjoy.

If a laptop, turn it off, then remove the poop without getting any stuck under the keys. Give it a clean with some isopropyl, let dry, and it should be good to go.
