Update on the others.
Red is sleeping in the tall coop with Marble and Buffy! Buffy was NOT happy when she went in there but Marble put himself between them and tuk-tukked at her till she relaxed. What a nice guy. She's been getting the most of the boy's attention in the morning so I think she wants the protection of the adults.

Candled the eggs. 1 wasn't developed at all so tossed it. We're on day 12 so it's very clear that the others are doing well, even the one I had to seal with wax.

Chatted with Marbles owner, he says he'll bring me tolbunt polish (chance of frizzle) eggs, and if he can collect any, deathlayers. Not sure when we are meeting yet. He also has a red satin silkie he wants to get me an egg from.

Hmm. That's interesting. I may have to tell @CCsGarden to try that.

She looked and acted better today. She sunbathed, pruned, walked around, ate food (unlike yesterday) and smacked Dominica over said food. She is still a bit pale. CC massaged her and said some stuff came out. She knows more than I do though.

Silkies are prolific here too. It's easier to find Silkie breeders here than any other breed. Just ran into another physical therapist today who's best friend just acquired 5 new Silkies in different colors & she was showing pictures. Then my DH also had to whip out his cell & show her our 5 Silkies!

Any excuse to show chicken photos!

I think this wee girl (Chervil) is practicing her Aurora glare. @BYBob could you show Aurora that her influence is growing with each generation?

Right now, I am doing Alpha Lipoic Acid on some yogurt it will help her with the comb and any liver issue she may have. I may try the pepper......
she seems to have an egg issue as I was massaging stuff out of her earlier.

Ha! It is similar here but the breeds are different. The SFH’s fly very well and the silkies look at them like how do you do that and why??

That's a pretty good glare. The best glares are at a little bit of an angle.

That is closer to a Glynda glare.
