Leghorns require patience. They can be great lap chickens but it is on their terms. You have to earn their trust. I have found them to be very smart, curious, and escape artists.View attachment 4130604
Dream is starting to get a head poof. :3 she's so cute. These girls do not want to be played with, but I know Leghorns are flighty.

Owl judging me for daring to give them thicker shavings this time. Tempted to write an article on this style brooder, it's so easy to clean and the chicks are so happy in here.
For reference, the term "flighty" is also used to describe Polish.
Be interesting to a leghorn and they will be fascinated by you.
