I can't watch it - whenever I hit 'play' an ad comes on and covers the video (I can hear him saying 'come on, come on up', but is sounds like he did a sweet thing. I am guessing they are Canadian Geese by the markings????

I wouldn’t let my waterfowl use the pool that I swim in! First it’s the family of goslings, then it’s their friends, who also have friends, then they won’t ever leave!

They do nasty things to the pool and are not welcome here.

They are Lavender Orps. The picture might have been a little dark. My chocolates were a definite brown when I got them. These are more of a purple/blue/gray, with some yellow undertones.

I have wanted Lavender Orpingtons ever since the first time I saw a picture of Hattie. I said OMG, a purple chicken.

I have seen them in feed stores a few times but they were always straight run. Finally found pullets.

How exciting! You will just love them. I just love having them.

Eve has had a lot of fun visiting with Hattie this weekend. Hattie ate from her hand and let Eve pet her. They got along splendidly.

I really wish I bought a few more - she is a very sweet hen - though she has been learning to be an escape artist from Butterscotch and Tippy

They are real treasures. I highly endorse them.
