When I get a chance I am going to see if it's available here. I have been moving the rubber mats in the horses' stalls out into the aisleway. They get really disgusting with moisture trapped under them, I have had it with lifting them all the time to clean under them.

I move Truly's out yesterday, they are disgusting and smelly, and they must weigh over 100lbs. At 5x7' and 1/2" thick they are not light! and darn nasty to move around, I use vise-grips to grab them and drag them around. Then I fold them over and tie the in place with some baling twine. If I had two people I would make a tube then shove a 2x4 through it to lift it. But with just me, I placed some rope through the fold, and tie it to the other end so it's a huge loop, then used the rope to drag the whole thing out of the stall. GROSS! it's very yucky. Only one more mat to go though.

Of course the chooks want to help, which makes it take more time as I keep having to move them out of the road, yesterday one of the mats flipped back flat and almost clobbered poor Babe! She can move fast, that one can hahaha! And yet still she gets underfoot. Brats I tell you BRATS!

They should learn from my Princesses and double up!
For the record there are 9 nest boxes and only 5 Princesses in the Chicken Palace, but wherever Tassels decides to be broody is the place they all want to use.

The mats are moved.... and I mowed some grass with the push mower - the riding mower is waiting for a part. I am pooped! Time to sit on my lawnchair and watch chickens, if I can find a place out of that cold wind! Brrr!

I see the chooks have all hunkered down in the sun away from the wind - smart birds! Was just watching a Turkey Vulture trying to soar about in the wind - they sure are masters of the sky!

Well friends, after a difficult and trying year, Junior year is officially over and everyone survived. I woke up this morning to a senior on my hands. I'm going to need all of their shortened summer vacation to adjust to this please.

How does she celebrate the start of summer, why, let me wake up to 5 additional teenagers at the house. A mere hour ago I got down to just 1 extra teen for the night. I am not complaining, I love her friends. They are respectful, and for a group of 6 in one room all gaming together quiet. My own teen is the loudest of them all. As soon as the pizza's get done they have me and my bro's girlfriend roped into a game of phase 10. I do not mind, me and Carla take pride into stomping children at cards and show no mercy.

I have goals this summer vacation, Rosie for sure needs tubes in her ears. We also find out Tuesday the results of her sleep study. Hopefully they found what they needed to get approved for her tonsils to be removed as well. This getting sick at the drop of a hat caused a lot of frustration this year and some stress playing catch up with her classes. I know if she is approved she is in for a rough road on recovery as she is older, but it needs done. I just dread the time she comes out of anesthesia. She has been under twice, and both times she comes out of it as hateful as a black snake.

Sounds like it's going to be an eventful summer. Treasure the time together. It goes by so fast.
