I want pictures if anyone does this.
I am sure @CCsGarden could make those. Me? Not so much! I can’t master the piping bag without getting frosting all over my face.

Don't you ever feel guilty over George being a boy. I was destined to have him. He was there for me when I needed him after loosing Branch. It has been a absolute pleasure to watch him grow up and blossom. He has taken on the role of flock rooster flawlessly and with that he has became less of a momma's boy. I still can get my snuggles in when I need them, but, he is a very busy little man these days. He is very smart and learns quickly. I can now say he is also great with the chicks. It just took a thumping from Gryffyn when he got too close for her comfort to Georgina that first day. He did not retaliate, but backed off and found a corn kernel and called them over to feed them. He hovers at a respectable distance around Goose and her baby watching over them then dashes to the coop entrance to peek in on Gryffyn and her two. All the while trying to keep tabs on the rest of the girls, attend to escort duties and toe the line Mrs. E demands and stay at her personal beck and call. The poor boy has a lot on his plate and deserves the nightly snuggles now that he is once again bug free. I've spoiled him and like Drumstick before him he now waits for me to pack him to bed. Even when I am dead tired and get home after dark from work first thing I have to do is put George up at night. He could go into the coop and hop up beside Mrs. E himself but no he waits for me. He sits on the dog crate beside the silkie coop even when it is pouring the rain.
Poor hens! And I awoke to overcast skies this morning. Though forecast is saying clearing by noon, UV index will be 9 or very high, the sun is now very strong with the approach of the summer solstice.
Last weekend poor Butters received a sun burn to her bald back (feathers were damaged and tore out by over breeding), she is now sporting her hen-apron once again. I also put a hen-apron on Cayenne, her back is also bald.

As with all chickens there are individual personalities. If you remember though, I recommended a Polish rooster to you because of their smaller size and reputation as calmer roosters. It seems that reputation is well earned.Awwww such a wee little prince, Mr P is like that (well minus wanting me to handle him) but he is super attentive to his ladies, tolerates the young ladies who like to pick at him, and watches over the chicks.
And wonder if this is a Polish trait - the calm nature. I certainly see that with his daughters, there is very little drama between them all.
I have more squabbling between the silkies hahaha!
Why did the chicks run back and forth across the road?Poor hens!
92F here today.
A joke DH said only BYC would ubderstand this one:
Why DIDN'T the PULLET cross the road?
