Thanks for sharing the pictures- all your birds are gorgeous. I’ve always thought chickens are pretty. Looking forward to more stories!
Welcome @McFrizzle !

Do you have frizzle chooks? We would all love to see some photos of your feathered friends.

Around the 3:20 min mark. She does this odd shivering, just something new I observed. I am sorry for the long video it’s about 4.5 min but I wanted to try and get you guys a good idea of what I see. Still eating drinking and pooping normally. No further incidents of her being unable to walk like yesterday.

I was able to check her vent, it looks completely normal.

The tremor could be from her trying to turn her head the other way (as someone who has had Torticillus it’s very disorienting and I had tremors trying to turn my head one way).

Did you try aspirin for any possible injury/inflammation, I am so hopelessly behind.

Have to say she is GORGEOUS! As long as she is eating and pooping I would say take it a day at a time.

Maybe you should look into something like Starlink. I don't like its parent company but if it works well it's probably worth putting up with.
Very eggspensive though. Only reason I have it, is because there are no other options here.

Have to say it’s been great being able to spy on the chooks sleeping at night while I am awake with my RLS 😉

Well time to do chores and get some sleep - maybe….

And my system is so easy, I watch you while you sleep. My cam is in her room. Ps. She doesn’t snore. But she wakes up in the late hours with leg cramps, poor lady!

I was outside with the chooks, and asked “do any of you want to come inside today? Only Elsa hung around. I took her inside… lots of treats were waiting. Thanks to Bob, I have that song stuck in my head:
🎼let me go, let me go, i don’t wanna be here any more.. la,la,la
But my Elsa is very happy here in the house. Good treats, and Monty Python’s Holy Grail on my wide screen (again) lucky chicken she is!
Eli-too had a run-in with a bunny yesterday - Eli tried to fly over the manure pile to get away from the bunny but seems she has put on some weight since last year!

End result both Eli and the bunny had a fright. Silly creatures!

The little silkies had their minds blown today. They spent from about noon till 8pm outside for the first time. They survived a couple thunderstorms, met several flock members through the saftey of the coop door and had their first chance to really stretch those wings.

The spent the first hour or so rooted in one spot just staring before they started exploring. They were not a fan of storms even though they were covered and did not get wet. They hid in the tote that Gryffyn and Georgette and Georgina sleep in at night. They finally got brave and hopped up on top of the tote and the stare downs began. They saw their parents and more importantly their parents saw them. I think Sunday will be the big day when I introduce them into the silkie coop. I want to give them a couple days to get used to being outside first.

They must have wore themselves out though, they are all 4 flat out sleeping in the dead chick pose.

Like all kids 😊♥️

That is a good point it could be. I did try aspirin but it made no difference at all.

She is still doing all those things. She is also preening her heart out today lol I think she is bored.

I am grateful to have caught the problem early enough to at least try and help. So often they hide any and all problems till it’s way too late.
